Our Story
History of Our Street Names
The streets within Westchester Ridge were primarily named for trees. In 2010 the City of Fort Wayne offered to plant trees in our neighborhood as part of a beautification project. The Westchester Ridge board requested trees to match our street names where possible. Silver Linden and Red Oak trees now line the primary streets, along with Autumn Blaze Maples.
